1969 pontiac catalina coupe (Thousand Oaks) $4500

QR Code Link to This Post ***IMPORTANT*** I had this car up for $6500 bc she was my daily driver. Recently I have had trouble with her stalling out and now starting. I have had the carb checked out - its fine, but I'm gonna check it again. I just replaced the distributor. When I purchased the car, it had an electronic fuel pump, which I replaced with a mechanical one, and it hasn't run the same since. Have a few ideas of what it can be, but so far, I haven't confirmed. Anyway, as soon as I have money, I will be taking her into someone who knows more than I do, figure out what it is (has to be simple bc this car was my daily driver for 2 yrs straight with zero problems). Then the price will go back up to $6500. However, if someone is handy enough to want to diagnose and fix this themselves, I am willing to let her go for 4500 obo. Thats 2k discount and there is NO WAY whatever is wrong would be even close to that much to fix. But it would be worth it for me not to have to put any cash into her right now as I have just purchased a new motorcycle and I'd rather be putting money into that. 1969 Pontiac Catalina coupe. Has a big 350 V8 and 4bb carb. Brand spankin new Magnaflow exhaust system put on her and she sounds like an absolute BEAST. She isn't going anywhere fast - she's a big girl, but she looks and sounds great. Rides smooth like a big boat. Body looks decent, but is originally a St. Louis car and has some rust in the usual spots, so would not be a candidate for a museum quality car. She had a newer vinyl top and interior installed just before I bought her, but the interior was cheap and has already started to rip at the seems, even when we've tried to be careful. I am being as honest about her condition as I can, she is as is almost 50 years old and will definitely need TLC. BUT she is definitely a drive-able project car, as I have used it as my daily driver since I have had her for 6 yrs or so. According to NADA, high price is 15k and low is 5k. I've seen JUNK sitting in a pile in someone's yard going for 4-5k, so trust me when I say this car is a steal for this price. Tags good till August. I am probably not interested in a trade - but since I always get offered anyway, the only POSSIBLE trade I would consider would be for a full size Ford Bronco that is in pristine running condition. Even then, I'd rather have cash, but I'll listen. Thank you for reading! Don't need help selling the vehicle. No flakes please - I respect your time and appreciate the same in return.
