QR Code Link to This Post I am selling my 2005 Honda Accord LX for $3800 obo. It has the 4 cylinder vtec engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. This car has been super reliable and I've taken great care of it in the last 4 years or so (~50k miles) that I've owned it. The only thing I've had to replace was the front right cv shaft. I've done a bunch of my own small preventative maintenance on it as well.The tinted windows have done an excellent job of protecting the interior, plus it stays much cooler on hot summer days. I wasn't a fan of the strip across the top of the windshield when I first got it (the tint was done by the previous owner), but after driving into the sun a few times you really begin to appreciate it.The previous owner had a nice stainless steel Flowmaster exhaust installed which sounds pretty good and is more efficient than the stock exhaust. I installed an aftermarket head unit with bluetooth, usb, and some other nice features.The tires that are currently on the aftermarket rims need to be replaced, so I reinstalled the original wheels with good tires today. The buyer may take one or both sets of wheels, no charge.A few things to note: There is some slight sun damage in a couple places, but that could easily be sealed up and/or repainted. The check engine light has been on for the O2 sensor for about 3 years, it didn't affect my mileage so I left it alone. There was some rust starting in the rear driver's side wheel well. I applied rust stop and it matched well enough that I never painted over it and the rust has not spread since.This car has been great, it's a lot of fun to drive, while still being economical, it generally gets 28-32mpg but I've gotten 37mpg on long highway drives. I'm only selling it because I needed to buy something bigger. I debated keeping this car too (and still can), but I'm thinking about buying a motorcycle instead, so I may also consider a trade.
