Below is more about that and more:POWERTRAIN: The Blur's superlative engine is a 220 cc, 4-valve, air/oil-cooled, fuel-injected mill that's mated to a perfectly tuned CVT set-up, resulting in smooth acceleration while rocketing its way through the mid-range power band and propelling you to over 70 MPH. The 4-valve head simply helps the engine breathe better for improved operating efficiency and also emits a nice sound while doing so. Air-cooling, combined with an oil-cooler keeps operating temperatures in the safe zone. Finally, electronic fuel-injection minimizes service, eliminating carburetor issues, and maximizes fuel efficiency to 70 MPG. So, leave the gas-guzzler at home and have some awesome fun instead.SUSPENSION/FRAME: The Genuine Blur SS 220i sets itself apart from other scooters in the marketplace by running a frame set-up very similar to that of a motorcycle. The alloy frame performs the task of keeping things nice and rigid, very different from what is seen on the majority of scooters. A dynamic mid-section suspension ensures instinctive performance at all speeds. It runs a centrally mounted shock, keeping things super compact while allowing for better weight distribution. Lean in to corners and conquer twisty roads with ease.BRAKES: When needed, powerful high-performance front and rear disc brakes will bring you to a halt very quickly. The front disc brake has a sweet-looking waved disc rotor with a two-piston red caliper. The rear disc brake has a single-piston red caliper. Both front and rear brake lines are braided... braided brake lines mean a super feel and one finger braking is the norm.IN SUMMARY: The Blur from Genuine Scooter Company is a perfectly-balanced, precision-oriented machine with the fit and finish you'd expect from a high-quality motor sports company. It's certainly not a scooter for everyone, but possibly perfect for the guy/gal who likes to "push the envelope". For that person, you'll likely be the envy of many scooterists, as they'll pay respect to such an excellent choice.By the way, this is NOT a Chinese scooter. It's been well-maintained and servicing is up-to-date. I have enhanced the scooter with some notable upgrades... (1) LED lighting enhancements all over for improved safety, convenience and aesthetics (2) Replaced the factory paper air filter element to a foam element, which allows the engine to breathe better, more efficiently. (3) Modified the passenger flip-out foot pegs so they can be used by both passenger and driver, giving the driver an alternative, more motorcycle-like riding position for improved handling. (4) Changed rear rack color to silver for a more pleasing aestheticAbout the price... I'm not inflexible, but any movement from the $2,250, would need to be discussed face-to-face. Considering suggested retail value is $2,680, my price is well below that, yet not even considering the scooter's low-mileage and upgrades mentioned in the previous paragraph.
