1996 Turbo Mazda Miata (Morton) $4200

QR Code Link to This Post 1996 Turbo Mazda Miata I purchased this car 2 years ago in the quad cities. I don't know a whole lot about the car besides what parts I have come across along the way. I bought it as a running project car that I could learn about, but as I've been traveling a lot more often for work, I don't have the time to work on it or really even drive it. As it sits, it has less than 60,000 miles. That may go up if I decide to take it out, but probably won't, as I also have a motorcycle I ride when it's nice enough for the Miata. Since purchasing the car, I've probably only put a few thousand miles on it, if that. I replaced the rims and tires last year and have probably put less than 200 miles on it since then. The car sometimes runs totally fine and sometimes stutters intermittently in boost. I have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, and spark plugs, but do not have the time or knowledge to mess with it anymore. If I had to guess, I would say the injectors probably need to be cleaned or replaced, which I will do myself if it doesn't sell for somewhat close to my asking price, and then relist. I never drove it in the rain or snow in the time that I had it and it stays in my heated/air conditioned garage. I never took it to a track or really even had much of a chance to see what it's actually capable of. I believe it's currently set at 12 lbs of boost. I'm pretty sure the car is running rich and there is a scratch on the back of the car that was there when I bought it. There is also a spot on the soft top where the clear window part is starting to seperate from the rest of it. I tried to include pictures of both of these things. I'm happy to try to answer any questions you may have, but I don't know a whole lot. I barely left town in it besides a few trips to Peoria so most of my driving was 45 mph or below. No test drives without cash in hand and me in the vehicle. It does not have a drivers side airbag and I don't want someone killing themselves. It also has an AC delete but the heat still works. I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of things that I wanted to cover, but there is already more information here than most of you will read anyway. It has been on the car for a while so I'm sure if this is the correct kit, parts have changed since the were originally sold"Currently tuned with a Link ECU The Link ECU was designed for the Miata, and is stand alone. It comes with a programming keypad, intake temperature sensor, and a knock sensor. It can do boost control, and with seriallink, it can do full datalogging.
