QR Code Link to This Post FYI- The only reason I am selling this bike is because of health reasons, which has made it hard for me to ride anymore. I have been riding for over 50 years and have owned all types of motorcycles from Harleys to Hondas but this is the best ride I have ever owned. When I bought this bike it was meant to be a keeper and that is why I added the extra parts, but my health changed all of that. This bike looks, runs and sounds great!This motorcycle is in excellent condition, low miles and runs like brand new. From a looks and style standpoint, you're getting two bikes. This bike is factory designed to convert from a full dresser to a street cruiser in about 60 seconds. Factory quick disconnect for windscreen and sissy bar/tour pack let you totally change the style of the bike- without tools. Check out the street cruiser pics at the end of the list of photos. The touring package allows for a lot of room for those long trips. I made several trips to the East Coast and back in amazing comfort. All the maintenance has been kept up on this bike, all fluids have been changed on schedule. Just changed oil and filter, new plugs, new brake pads front and rear, checked antifreeze and levels, new rear tire installed- only 200 miles on it, front tire still good - Avon tires front and rear. Bike is in excellent condition. Mileage is low- the average mileage on a 2006 Royal Star is around 48,000 miles and this bike only has 33,307 miles on it and has been garage kept. This bike has been on several long trips and I have never had a problem with it. Runs and rides great. The driver backrest I added really increases comfort and eliminates fatigue and low back pain. All finishes are in great shape. This bike has many great features like the retro 60's look speedometer and dash set up and a heel / toe shifter for easy smooth gear changes. I also added a 2-way remote controlled alarm system that guards your bike and tells you of any movement of the bike or if anyone is in too close a proximity with it's proximity alarm. This alarm system will work up to 3 miles away- No more worry about someone tampering with your bike even when you are sleeping in your hotel room. I also installed a double USB plug and a cell phone/gps adjustable holder on the left handlebar that you can see in one of the pictures. There are also ground effect lights installed in blue, they look nice and give you extra visibility at night. There are extra bright LED tail lights located just below each saddlebag that makes you much more visible from the back and they look very clean on the bike. I also added a new aircraft grade windshield. It's a bit larger so that I could use it for longer trips with less fatigue for myself and my wife (She loves it!) The chrome mounting hardware is now installed on the larger windshield as you can see in the pics but can be used on the standard windshield if you desire. I will be including the original standard windshield with the bike. When you look at the pics you will see one that shows the windshield, passenger backrest and luggage rack, and the driver backrest - these are all quick release and can be removed in about 60 seconds, so you can make it a long run cruiser or your street cruiser for just running around town in no time flat. The standard model has brushed front forks while the S model has chrome front forks, this is a standard model with the brushed front forks. The Royal Star Tour Deluxe is a large motorcycle similar to the harley road king. Rider seat height is 29.1 in (740 mm)- It weighs 787 lbs (357 kg dry, which yields a weight of 844 lb (383 kg) with oil, coolant, and a full fuel tank. The Royal Star Tour Deluxe has a 67.5 in (1,710 mm) wheelbase. The shock absorbers are air adjustable for preload to help compensate for different load sizes. It has 9.3 gallons of storage in its hard side bags. The drive package on the Royal Star Tour Deluxe is the same as the Yamaha Royal Star Venture including a liquid cooled 1,298 cc (79.2 cu in) (referred to as 1,300 cc) V4 engine. It has four valves per cylinder, overhead camshafts, and shim over bucket valves. The five speed overdrive transmission is part of the engine case and both the engine and transmission share oil. The drive shaft and final drive assembly are built into the left side of the double sided swing arm. Swing arm motion is damped by a monoshock mounted in the center of the frame. The clutch is of the wet plate design and is hydraulically activated by the left hand lever. The brakes are all two piston design. Both front brakes are activated by the right hand lever. The rear brake is activated by the foot pedal on the right.
