2015 Custom xs650 Triumph Bobber Chopper (Emmett) $4000

QR Code Link to This Post Here is my baby... One day, a 1968 Triumph hardtail rolling chassis came across a 1981 xs650 complete motorcycle and they, well, after falling in love and getting married...they got it on. Due to the combination of Triumph frame and Yamaha motor she is titled as a 2015 Custom Build. I began the build myself but after having my 2nd and 3rd kid realized I would never finish it. I took the bike to a local bike builder/custom shop and essentially he undid all of the stuff that I did in order to make it straight and safe (go figure). Everything little detail is a custom made, one of a kind piece. The motor mounts, controls, handmade bars, handmade notification lights on handlebars, handmade lockable false oil tank with fuse box and storage, pre-wired with a Battery Tender plus, handmade exhaust, hand tooled seat, handmade license plate holder, etc... all one of a kind and made for the bike by my hands or the builders hands. Tank is rust free and covered in RedKote. Brakes are straight and in great shape. New cables. New handmade foot controls. Everything on the motor short of a complete rebuild was done. Everything on the bike has a purpose and everything unnecessary has been thrown away. No signals. Electric and kick start. Bright lights on the bars tell you the bike has power and that you are in neutral. She has one Triumph wheel and one Yamaha wheel. I fought with it for over a year but could not find a way to use the British rear wheel (which is right side drive/right side brake) with the left side Yamaha drive. The Triumph forks have been cleaned, greased, and given new bearings. The engine has complete new seals, new sump filter, oil changed 30 miles ago. Carbs rebuilt this year. She is the best running bike I have ever owned and she sounds AMAZING. Brand new silver and black paint this year. Oh, small note: she is jockey shift/foot clutch (because why not?). The foot clutch internals and linkage were built by Blacksmith Billy, the originator and perfecter of the xs650 foot clutch. The bike turned out 100% exactly what I wanted when the build began 5 years ago. Feel free to ask questions, I'll try to answer them. The bike builder was meticulous and he did not give me the bike until it was perfect. I can't think of/remember all that was done... She is like a brand new bike that I have barely began riding. I have a ton of money invested in her and she has been gone through with a fine tooth comb. 55 miles on her!! If you come to look at her and want to ride her, I need cash in my hand. I cannot put into words how much fun this bike is. Due to Triumph hardtail frame it is longer and lower than any other xs650 out there. You will stand out from everyone else, I promise you that. I tried to remember everything that was done/polished/cleaned/improved on the bike but I probably missed 90% of it. Thanks for looking.
