This boat has tons of potential to be a comfortable liveaboard for its size or a very comfortable weekend getaway boat. This boat has nearly everything to start living on it at the dock or at anchor. It's got 5' of head room inside and it just had a full bottom job done with 2 coats of trinidad 25 on the hull and 3 coats at the waterline. It also got the freeboard repainted with a coat of epoxy primer and 2 coats of bright red topside paint. The top deck and mast is in good condition and needs minor TLC and tinkering. Some features this vessel has is a 2 stroke 9.8 hp nissan outboard with parts manual (runs great but needs the cooling system cleaned), new 5000 BTU AC unit, new 12v Duracell deep cycle battery, 2 trickle chargers (one solar, one 120v), 25' shore power cord and power strip, tons of safety gear and equipment, VHF radio, 2 anchors, mainsail and jib, new microwave, 5 gallon porta potty (not shown in the pictures), tons of storage all over the boat, 14 gallon water tank, ice box under stairs, gas stove storage area, good size eating area that converts to a bed and a large cockpit/helm area. For more information see the following link... http://sailboatdata.com/viewrecord.asp?class_id=4677This is the swing keel version of this vessel but the swing keel insert has been removed from the actual keel and the thru hull sealed up with fiberglass and resin. Still has 1700lbs of lead ballast in the main part of the keel. This was done prior to me acquiring the boat. Boat still sails fine in light winds. Will sail better with the correct mainsail size for the mast. The only major repair It will need is some fiberglass work to the top of the rudder because of damage. Rudder can be removed from the vessel while in the water. Three bolts hold it in place. If done correctly you don't even need a diver to remove it. Easy 1 day fix for a novice mariner. Rudder wasn't fixed during bottom job due to time constraints at dry dock. Rudder is still solid and performs just fine. If sailing isn't your thing and you would rather motor along another option is the mast and rigging can be removed completely and sold. (valued around $500) The outboard bracket on the back can be upgraded to a heavy duty bracket and the 9hp 2 stroke motor can be replaced with a 10-15hp 4 stroke to turn it into a rugged and stable fuel efficient power boat. It only draws 2'6" so getting into the shallows is no problem.Price is $3000 Or best reasonable offer. I got a clear title in hand! Cash money gets the best deal! I also have a 2 axle sailboat trailer that will work for this boat. It will need tires other than that it works perfectly fine. Give me asking price I'll add the trailer for FREE if it doesn't sell before hand!! Register the boat as an antique and only pay $25 for the registration and title!! Boat is in the water by Maximo Marina at a private residence. Boat can be seen by appointment only. Will consider trading it for a motorcycle. Boat will need to be moved the day of transition of ownership. Located minutes from Boca Ciega Bay FREE anchorage, Maximo Marina and Gulfport Municipal Marina! PLEASE CALL!! TEXT WILL BE IGNORED!! Thank you for looking!
