QR Code Link to This Post Hydraulic clutch line master cylinder lever and slave cylinder with matching front brake master cylinder lever that fits many motorcycles with some modification. Please see photos of us fitting the 1 inch model onto a Yamaha 2001 VStar Classic XVS650 and the 7/8 model onto a Yamaha 1976 XS650.* Pease indicated your handlebar size, 1 inch or 7/8, your clutch cable length, and the color of slave cylinder you need, black for the Vstar 650 or aluminum for the XS650.* The XS650 will require tapping of the crank case cover with a M8 x 1.25 threaded tap.* Please indicate your current clutch cable length so we can accommodate with a similar size hydraulic line replacement.* We currently have 550mm, 1100mm, 1300mm, 1450mm, and 1600mm length hydraulic lines in stock. Not all of our lines are steel braided, we will supply you with what is currently available. We can special order longer sizes for ape hangers, but there will be a delay.* We have a few black slave cylinders for sale in addition to our aluminum slave cylinders, please let us know if you prefer black as they are a better fit to the Vstar 650.* Please flush your system with hydraulic fluid until all metal shavings are absent as these levers, hydraulic lines, and slave cylinders are all freshly manufactured. Please wear your safety glasses when flushing your line by pumping the hydraulic lever and relieving the hydraulic pressure at the slave cylinder vent cap.* You will need to adjust the clutch pack tension on the slave cylinder to the correct length depending on the current wear in your clutch friction plates and tension in the clutch springs. This can only be defined as a sweet spot where you will have full clutch engagement in 1st gear at release, and full clutch release at lever actuation. I recommend practicing this with the bike off and in 1st gear until you get the adjustment correct. You will be able to pull the clutch lever and the bike will roll freely as the clutch pack is actuated, but the bike will stop abruptly upon clutch lever release.* Mirror fittings are not perfect and may not be compatible with all mirrors.* These are not a perfect fit to the bars, but will work and have been tested on several models.* We offer no warranty, guarantee of success, or returns on this product. Recommended for experienced fabricators and gear heads.* This product is not DOT, Department of Traffic, approved.
