I am selling a very cool and complete engine from a late 1950s to early 1960s BMW Model 700 micro car. This is a two cylinder motor based on the BMW air cooled motorcycle engine with magneto for ignition. A custom baffle exhaust was added by a previous owner. The engine turns freely and has compression, but I have not started it. My father-in-law found this engine years ago in Seattle and had it running when he purchased it. He said it ran smooth and quiet. Would be great if restoring a BMW micro car, as I believe it will fit in the late-Isetta 600 or the 700. Could also be used to power another project. Asking $1000.
