  • The summer of 2016 can't get here fast enough. I need an ADV bike to deal with these salt covered roads. Thankfully we have tons of brands dropping some great new products to look forward to. Alpinestars has got some new goodies headed our way and ohhhh buddy, it is looking good. I am here today to give you some info about the new Ridge 2 Air Boot and the Roam 2 Air Boot. These toe houses are going to be great additions for the new riding season.

Alpinestars Ridge 2 Air Motorcycle BootsAlpinestars Ridge 2 Air Boots come CE rated, no price increase over the old Roam, and they made some nice updates. Alpinestars added TPR velcro closures, extended the rear accordion bellow, upgraded the shift protector, and did I mention the CE rating? Oh right, I did -- but it’s so nice I’ll just say it twice. This is just a few of the changes from the old Roam; there is a laundry list of features that make the Ridge 2 Air Boots a top contender for the summer riding season.

Alpinestars Ridge 2 Air Boots Review:

Alpinestars Roam 2 Air Motorcycle BootsAlpinestars Roam 2 Air Boots are CE rated, they have 3 adjustable Velcro straps, dual density ankle cups that are backed with foam, and they have accordion stretch in the front flex zones and collar for superior comfort. The Ridge 2 Air Boots are nice for commuting or running around town. Obviously they will allow you to do much more than that, but if you are looking to take a step up in protection the Roam 2 WP is going to be a bit taller while maintaining the comfort and flexibility you will want when you are logging some serious miles in the saddle.

Alpinestars Roam 2 Air Boots Review:

If you like your feet and you want something to keep them nice and comfy, you might want to consider taking a look at the new Roam 2 Air or the Ridge 2 Air boots. They will offer great functionality for everyday riding while providing solid protection for all types of riders. Please do not be the “I don’t need gear, I don’t plan on crashing or riding aggressively” guy. Treat yourself to some nice toe houses and I know you and your feet will not regret it. We just scratched the surface with these new boots but hopefully you learned a thing or two. Ride safe out there guys and gals.

    Keep on keep'n on,
