There are some scary statistics out there regarding injuries caused by crashes involving motorbikes – for instance, 30 bikers a day are injured or killed at junctions in the UK (according to gov.uk ). On top of this, for every billion kilometres travelled, 1141 motorcyclists are killed. Rather than getting hung up on these negative statistics, we need to use them in a positive way to raise awareness to drivers and fellow bikers that extra caution needs to be taken on the roads, and prevent these statistics from increasing.
