Harley-Davidson custom shadowbox from the H-D
Military Archive Collection. Dated 2010. Not for
sale to the general public.From the enclosed paperwork:
"This...custom shadow box...showcases the details and
uses of the 1942 WLA motorcycle during World War II.
It's a limited edition collection featuring one-of-a-kind
images straight from the Harley-Davidson museum
archives. The WLA motorcycle, which came to be known
as 'The Liberator', featured...special wartime equipment,
such as an ammo box, machine-gun scabbard and front
and rear blackout lights to help soldiers avoid detection.
It played an important role for military police, couriers,
scouts and communication specialists during WWII."A great display piece for the H-D or American history
enthusiast. All original packaging and paperwork
