I I would consider that something we can all agree on is that these un-transparent procedures with which the negotiation is proceeding is something which is unacceptable and must change. I urge everyone to sign this petition so that there are open negotiations for the future of the Greek people and that they should not proceed behind closed doors/ Θεωρώ πως κάτι που όλοι μπορούμε να συμφωνήσουμε, είναι πως οι αδιαφανείς διαδικασίες με τις οποίες γίνεται η διαπραγμάτευση είναι κάτι απαράδεκτο και το οποίο πρέπει να αλλάξει. Aνοιχτή συζήτηση με θέμα την πολιτική υπευθυνότητα διοργανώνουν την Τετάρτη 10 Ιουνίου στις 12:00 το μεσημέρι στο Πνευματικό Κέντρο του Δήμου Αθηναίων (Ακαδημίας 50) το European Liberal Forum (ELF) σε συνεργασία με το Ίδρυμα Friedrich Naumann για την Ελευθερία (FNF) και το Forum για την Ελλάδα.
Οι υπεύθυνοι πολιτικοί καλούνται συχνά να πάρουν δύσκολες αποφάσεις και να διαχειριστούν κρίσεις ή ξαφνικές προκλήσεις. Πολλές φορές όμως, οι κυβερνήσεις, έχοντας να αντιμετωπίσουν την δυσαρέσκεια μερίδας του εκλογικού σώματος και το ενδεχόμενο πολιτικό κόστος, κάνουν επιλογές που είτε δεν αντιμετωπίζουν τα προβλήματα, είτε τα μεγεθύνουν. Με αυτό τον τρόπο, αν και δεν κάνουν κάτι εκτός νόμου, βλάπτουν τη χώρα ή αθετούν τις υποχρεώσεις της απέναντι στους διεθνείς εταίρους.
Μπορεί μια κυβέρνηση να «κάνει ό,τι θέλει» ή πρέπει να αναλαμβάνει την ευθύνη για τις πράξεις της, ακόμη και αν απολαμβάνει την υποστήριξη των πολιτών;
Πώς θα πρέπει οι διεθνείς εταίροι αλλά και η αντιπολίτευση να αντιμετωπίζει μια τέτοια κυβέρνηση; Πού σταματάει η δημοκρατική νομιμότητα και αρχίζει η «εταιρική ευθύνη» για το σύνολο;
Είναι έτοιμη η ελληνική κοινωνία να καθορίσει στους ανεύθυνους πολιτικούς -από τα δεξιά ή τα αριστερά- τα όρια που δεν μπορούν να διαβούν;
Απαντήσεις στις παραπάνω ερωτήσεις θα κληθούν να δώσουν οι ομιλητές της εκδήλωσης: -Denns Kratz, Βουλευτής της Βοσνίας-Ερζεγοβίνης και πρόεδρος του κόμματος Nasa Stranka - Χάρης Θεοχάρης, Βουλευτής, Το Ποτάμι - Γρηγόρης Βαλλιανάτος, Πρόεδρος της Φιλελεύθερης Συμμαχίας - Δημήτριος Κατσούδας, Διευθυντής του «Φόρουμ για την Ελλάδα».
