To address the issue, official campaign partners the Federation of European Social Employers and the European Public Service Unions (EPSU) are jointly hosting a webinar on 21 September to raise awareness of MSDSs in the social services sector and to highlight concrete measures and practices to tackle them.Both organisations recognise the importance of employers’ representatives and trade unions working together to ensure safe and healthy working conditions for the entirety of the social services workforce. The event also includes presentations on the European Commission’s new strategic framework on health and safety at work, as well as on the Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load campaign, presented by EU-OSHA project manager Lorenzo Munar.
