Greek retail sales record turnover drop by 5.6% during Q3 2020

Retail sales turnover fell 5.6 pct in the third quarter of 2020, with November turnover plunging 12.4 pct after the imposition of a new lockdown in the country, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Friday, ANA reports. Jewelry and watches recorded the sharpest decline in turnover (40.4 pct), followed by cosmetics (38.5 pct), while other retail commerce in non-specialized stores recorded the biggest percentage turnover in the third quarter (41.7 pct), followed by cars (27.1 pct).
