This Adirondack chair is handcrafted from pressure treated pine. Lumber off the shelf varies in size and smoothness. I run each piece through my thickness planer to insure exact sizing and then hand sanded to a smooth quality finish. The back is carefully machined on my CNC. All screws are countersunk. If you have ever stepped on an exposed screw on a hot August day, you will appreciate this step. These chairs will last for generations. You can find'm cheaper, but they are cheaper for a reason!
