EH&S has a new employee, Health and Safety Technician, Varun Patel.  Varun is a recent graduate from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and is also a graduate of The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in India.  He had an extended internship with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where he performed many of the tasks we do here in EH&S at Carnegie Mellon.He will be performing audits of laboratories, studios and shops, testing chemical fume hoods, and working with data entry in BioRAFT and the ChemTracker databases, among other tasks.  Be sure to welcome Varun when you see him!
