Σύμφωνα με την εφημερίδα «ΔΙΚΕΦΑΛΟΣ Αετός», εταιρεία συμφερόντων του απέκτησε το 80,74% των μετοχών, στην οποία μέχρι σήμερα μεγαλομέτοχος ήταν το σωματείο «Ένωση Φίλων ΑΕΚ». Η απόφαση πάρθηκε σε Γενική Συνέλευση που έγινε χθες. Ο Δημήτρης Μελισσανίδης είχε πλέον το δικαίωμα για να συνδεθεί μετοχικά με την ΠΑΕ ΑΕΚ, από την στιγμή που στις αρχές του 2019 είχε νομοθετηθεί το δικαίωμα κατοχής μετοχικού ποσοστού σε αθλητική ανώνυμη εταιρεία, εφόσον το μετοχικό ποσοστό με το οποίο συνδέεται κάποιος με στοιχηματική εταιρεία, δεν ξεπερνά το 15%.
