Thessaloniki Port sets up subsidiary in Bulgaria linking through rail to Europe

The Thessaloniki Port Authority (OLTh SA) founded a subsidiary in Sofia, Bulgaria "that will expand the hinterland and improve the connectivity of the port of Thessaloniki," it said on Thursday, ANA reports. According to OLTh, ThPA Sofia EAD's dry port will be situated at the Illienci area of Sofia and be directly linked to the Thessaloniki port by rail. The new dry port will also link up with dry ports in SE, East, and Central Europe, boosting the export activities of multiple companies.
