Greek-American, Michael Kratsios, was recently appointed the Under Secretary of Defence for Research and Engineering at the Pentagon, protothema.gr reports. Kratsios, who is also the Chief Technology Officer of the United States Defence, although born in California traces his ancestral roots back to the village of Volissos in northern Chios.
