EU-OSHA’s Executive Director visits Athens for the 2nd Hellenic Conference on Occupational Health and Safety

On 18th and 19th of November EU-OSHA’s Executive Director, Dr Christa Sedlatschek, attends the 2nd Hellenic Conference on Occupational Health and Safety. She presents a key-note speech at the Conference under the title "New forms of work from an OSH perspective".Dr. Sedlatschek  will also meet the Minister Ioannis Vroutsis, other key representatives of the Ministry and social partners at the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The purpose of the meeting is to see how Greece continues to develop its occupational safety and health system and discuss how the relations between Greece and the Agency can be further strengthened. Greece, through the work of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, is a core member of the focal point network of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work and its work on occupational safety and health is very visible in Europe due to the strong commitment of the Ministry and its national tripartite network.
