Greek fashion exhibition at the Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Center in Athens

The Foundation of the Hellenic World in collaboration with the “V. Papantoniou” Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation (PFF), presents the exhibition “Greek Fashion – 100 years of inspiration and creation” at the Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Center, according to int.ert.gr. The exhibition, which opens on October 25, aims to highlight, through the 140 exhibits from PFF’s permanent collection, the inspiration and the influence of the featured artists from all historical periods in the course of the Greek nation and culture (urban and popular). Costume and set designer Nikos Saridakis curated the exhibition and the texts that accompany it and is a permanent partner of PLI, while the exhibition area was designed by PLI’s permanent partner Stamatis Zannos. In a specially designed area, selected firms from the fashion industry will showcase their contemporary creations inspired by and with a reference to Greek civilization. During the exhibition, a series of educational programs will be available for kindergarten children and elementary school students, as well as educational guided tours for high school students organized by the Department of Education at the Hellenic World.
