Lower legs zip open so you can easily fit the pants over boots. Lower leg zippered closures also have velcro and dual snap closures to keep water and debris out of your boots. These pants have a fully ventilated mesh lining for maximum air circulation and cooling in extreme conditions. They have a waterproof, multilayer, sealed Hipora membrane. They have heatproof and abrasion resistant knee structure made from Kevlar 1680D ballistic fabric. These are extremely hard wearing pants due to the sturdy outer material used.
