2013 BMW S1000RR – (Miami) $12000

QR Code Link to This Post You are looking at a bike that has been loved. Unfortunately for me, it is time to let go. Luckily for you, this bike is in good shape and will be good to you! I am the 1 and only owner of this bike. I purchased it new in 2013. This was my 3rd super-sport type motorcycle. I purchased it from Motorcycles of Miami and they have seen it annually to do service etc. (BMW kind of locks you in to needing to use them as they have proprietary electronics etc.).The bike has many top of the line upgrades. Most notably it has a full akrapovic titanium exhaust. It also has a power commander V as well as a power commander auto tune (the auto tune can be switched on and off.... if you plan on going other places like the tail of the dragon like this bike has done, it is helpful because you can switch it on and keep the mixture on point even at different altitudes). I changed out the stock rear sets for Austin Racing rear sets. The bike has a high performance filter in it (I had a BMC in there previously but now it has a K&N that works better). The bike makes 197 wheel horse power on premium pump gas which is the only fuel it has ever been given. I am looking for the graph from the dyno they printed out in 2013 but it looks to have been misplaced. The custom tune was done by Blais Cycle Inc on a dyno and I have the custom map file I can give to you so you have the file. It also has just tons of R&G protective covers for the engine and forks and handle bars etc. It also has a toe guard, so that is helpful in the event that you go down, your toes will NOT be cut off, but just pushed out of the way. I am sure there are other little things I am missing if you look carefully but most of the big upgrades are mentioned above. The motor has never been opened up. The motor is all factory. This bike also has a RoadLok installed on it!!!! TOTALLY GREAT UPGRADE for anyone who is even thinking of leaving this bike for any amount of time out of their view. There are some scratches on the gas tank. I have not tried to touch it up, but I am sure there is a way to improve that affordably with some touch up paint. There is also a small crack in the exhaust. I leaned the bike a little too far to the right when I was putting it back in my garage and it hit some dumbells. :-( The "issues" are cosmetic and are in the pictures. Mechanically the bike is a champ and has been taken care of. There are no issues with any of it as far as I know.I purchased this bike because at the time it was one of the most amazing bikes available. It has loads of electronics such as traction control, antilock breaks and can even be tamed depending on the "mode" you put it in (rain, sport, race and slick modes are available from least aggressive to most aggressive) and the traction control and antilock breaks can be enabled or disabled separately. It also has heated grips, which for us Floridians is clearly a must!Feel free to text me with questions. Let's block ads! (Why?)
