Long story short, it's impossible to get the title in my name (or rather, the previous owner does not want to sign it as he is not the person I bought it from). It may be possible to weld a new headstock on the bike with a new VIN, but it's probably not worth the effort because this bike needs lots of work to get on the road, including:-Needs forks rebuilt -Needs tires -Mysterious electrical issues (can't get starter to turn the engine) -Carburetors are missing parts that are hard to replaceHowever, the engine does turn. Haven't tested compression. I'm sure there is lots of value in spare parts, if not just scrap metal. If you can haul it, you can have it free. This was supposed to be my first bike, but I had no idea that these V-4's were so complex and rare, and I'd rather take on an air-cooled 250cc or something. Let's block ads! (Why?)
