QR Code Link to This Post Up for sale is my 1982 Suzuki GS400E(z). I have restored many motorcycles which have been sold all over the Country. This was my last restoration taking around 14 months to complete. Rode motorcycles all my life but it’s time to do other things.This motorcycle is a Euro model and was never brought to the States until the following year as a GS425 then a GS450. The VIN ends in 0398 so this was a very early model brought down from Canada. Purchased from original owner. Since these were available in different models later in the States parts are very easy to find. There are a few exceptions which i found online. I have ordered from five (5) different Countries. One was the new OEM exhaust you see in pictures. Yup, correct stamped exhaust from the Netherlands, few small parts from Canada, Israel, Poland and Japan.There is really to much to list but gone through front to back. I did not touch the internals of motor as the top end was redone in 02/91 at 9090 kilometers. (5648 miles) Currently 11594 kilometers. (7204 miles) Specs; -1982 GS400E -400cc, DOHC TSCC (acts like supercharger above 6500 RPM) -44 horsepower -6 speed transmission. - Fuel gauge. (Nice) -Gear indicator. (Nice) -Only used Suzuki OEM parts. (Few exceptions like mirrors) -Includes Service manual and a few spare parts. I have receipts for the entire project that can be provided. I just recently rebuilt carburetors , new battery and starter. (Suzuki OEM parts.)Basically its all new. Just way to much to list here. If Suzuki had the parts, I replaced them.The pictures speak for themselves. She is a beauty and just a kick to ride, needs nothing. Cheap insurance and registration too! (Ins. $103 year.
