Tourist arrivals in April this year increased by 4.8% on an annual basis, recording a historic high for the month, data released by the Statistical Service, on Friday, show, according to CNA. Based on the results of the Passengers Survey, arrivals of tourists reached 329,308 in April 2019 compared to 314,143 in April 2018, recording an increase of 4.8%. “April 2019 had the highest volume of tourist arrivals ever recorded in Cyprus during the specific month,” a Statistical Service press release published on its website notes.
