Greek exports grew by 1.6% during the first quarter of 2019

Greek exports have been on the rise during the first quarter of the year, according to a report published by the Panhellenic Exporters’ Association (PSE), int.ert.gr notes. There was a rise in imports as well which serves as a warning for the need to stimulate domestic production. The Association underlines that it is the right time for the country to invest in production and extroversion, while drawing out a national strategy that all governments will adopt for the benefit of national economy and society in general. In particular, according to the report presented by PSE for January-March 2019, exports grew by 1.6% amounting to 7.99 billion euros from 7.87 billion euros, while for the month of March 2019, imports increased by 7.8% compared to the same month of 2018.
