The Jacket is a true, four-season riding gear and works well in cold, hot, wet or dry conditions. The jacket shell is made from C-Change material that is a climate-sensitive membrane which it extremely breathable and highly responsive to changing temperature. For hot weather riding as your body gets warmer, the cells of the membrane open to allow heat to escape and airflow to increase. For cold weather riding your body cools down causing the cells close to retain heat. The outer shell also is made from Dynatec™ fabric that is highly abrasion-resistant for protection and long lasting durability. The fabric is finished with NanoSphere® coating that repels water, dirt and oil. Liquids run easily off the surface before they saturate the fibers, keeping the jacket clean and dry in any riding condition. For example, if Katsup, oil or grease is smeared on the jacket it washes off with just water and does not leave a stain. The Spirit jacket comes with five pieces of CE approved armor (2 elbows, 2 shoulders and back) that provide the highest level of impact protection available for internal garment armor, while Reflextm retro-reflective patches on arms and back enhance your visibility to other drivers for night time riding.For the coldest days, the Spirit jacket includes a softshell inner liner that is removable and styled to wear as a casual, stand-alone jacket.
