Greek state bond yields drop to new 14-year low on Thursday

Greek state bond yields continued to fall in the domestic electronic secondary bond market on Thursday, after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) reaffirmed its forecast of primary surpluses of 3.5 pct of GDP by 2022 in Greece, ANA reports. The 10-year bond yield eased as low 3.339 pct in trading during the day, from 3.44 pct on Wednesday, and hit a new 14-year low at the close of trade, with the 10-year bond closing at 3.34 pct, while the five-year bond yield eased to 2.19 pct from 2.24 pct on Wednesday.
