Occupational safety and health at the heart of discussions at the Bucharest conference

Member States representatives and EU decision-makers continue the debate on occupational safety and health (OSH) in the context of new forms of work. The conference in Bucharest on 9 April, organised under the Romanian EU Presidency, exchanges good practices in order to promote the prevention culture throughout the working life and to raise awareness on the musculoskeletal disorders. As the leader in promoting healthy and safe workplaces in Europe, EU-OSH is fundamentally involved in the discussions on ensuring fair working conditions and workers’ wellbeing. Its executive director Dr Christa Sedlatschek addresses work-related changes from the OSH perspective, with the focus on anticipating the risks and opportunities arising from new digital technologies.
