Greece and Cyprus to jointly launch interactive portal for tourism

Digital strategies, communication networks and space were among the issues discussed during a working meeting between Greece's Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Media Minister Nikos Pappas and Cyprus Minister of Transport, Communications and Works Vassiliki Anastasiadou in Athens on Friday, according to ANA. Among the topics discussed were the two countries' digital strategy, their 'smart city' apps, the development of 5G networks and cooperation in space, as well as cooperation between their ministries that had been agreed when Pappas visited Nicosia in November. The last concerns an exchange of knowhow on the digital transformation of agriculture and electronic transfers of documents being implemented by the General Secretariat for Digital Policy in Greece.
