2016 Zero S (Durham) $8000

QR Code Link to This Post Listing in anticipation of spring. It's going to be here eventually! I love this bike, but I'd like to sell it to help pay for a wedding and home repairs. This is an S 9.8 with only 3376 miles. I've ridden it so gently the tires are only just starting to show some wear. The bike will come with a few extras. - Acerbis Handguards - Zero Top Box Rack - Givi Top Box - Zero Rear Fender Rain Guard - Ebay TPMS kit - Belt tension gauge - Oxford motorcycle cover (fits nicely in "gas tank" storage pouch so it's always with the bike) - Brand new spare drive beltThis bike only weighs 376 lbs and is a joy around town at such a light weight. In fact, it actually weighs less than a 2016 Ninja 300 ABS, but it makes 38% more horsepower and more than triple the torque. Yup, triple the torque of a Ninja 300 ABS (which is heavier) without having to rev to 9,000 rpm. What's hard to believe is that this bike actually makes 10% more torque than a Ducati Monster 821. I've kept this bike in a heated basement which stays around 50 degrees during the past two winters. It's been stored with the battery at 60% according to Zero's recommendations. During the riding season I generally keep the battery between 40% and 80% state of charge, which is completely unnecessary, but it is best practice for Lithium-ion batteries . Zero warranties their power packs for 5 years and this unit was delivered in April of 2016, so the transferable battery warranty is good until 05/2021. Transferring the warranty is as simple as filling out an online form. I'm happy to show the buyer of the bike how to get that done.I'd like to get $8,000 or best reasonable offer.
