Includes a new condition Mustang 2-up seat with an adjustable/removable backrest for the rider / sissybar/backrest/luggage rack ($800 value), Cobra front floorboard kit ($330 value), bar risers, 12-Volt accessory outlet, battery tender pigtail and a heated gear outlet. The tires may have 50 - 100 miles of use and still have the "new tire smell". The little rubber nubs are still on them and I checked the date codes (recent manufacturing dates, they are not "new old stock" that's dried out from sitting on a shelf for years). Cosmetically the bike is excellent but I wouldn't quite describe it as "like new", there are minor scratches here and there but it is in well above average condition for a 2008; I rate it as 9 out of 10. Mechanically I cannot distinguish the bike from brand new. Everything functions as it should, it feels as if you're riding a brand new motorcycle. The 819cc V-Twin engine makes strong low to mid RPM grunt (torque) and will pull you, passenger and luggage up the hills on the highway without issue. It is fuel injected with an automatic choke, so cold starts and cold weather riding are a no-fuss affair. It is shaft driven, no crud-slinging chain to adjust and ultimately wear out (there is a picture of my hand pointing out the shaft drive). With the 4.1 gallon fuel tank and 50+ MPG, this machine is ready for some long rides. The brand new Mustang seat is extremely comfortable with the adjustable/removable back rest. Legs and feet remain relaxed atop the Cobra floorboards. It is the most comfortable motorcycle I have ever ridden and it rides smoothly / handles well. I am 5'10 175lbs and it is a perfect ergonomic fit. The low (27.6") seat height makes the bike manageable for the vertically challenged and it just looks so good in triple black sitting low slung. This bike is equipped with an inverted front fork from the factory, there's less unsprung weight this way so it is more of a sporting cruiser (the only one in it's class with an inverted fork). Combining the inverted fork with the 7-way adjustable rear suspension results in predictable handling and a smooth ride you can easily adjust for your cargo weight. The 5-speed transmission has a high ratio 5th gear for relaxed and smooth highway riding. The V-twin engine has a nice rumble but also has a counter-balancer for smooth operation. Breathing through the factory exhaust it emits a deep but sensible exhaust note. It is fun but pleasant and just quite easy to ride all around.Book value is $3,500 but the bike includes over $1,000 in extras, basically-new tires, everything works as it should and it's in excellent condition.546-5264 (text or call using the low/primary WV area code).
