QR Code Link to This Post I have a ZX1000 Kawasaki that has been in storage since 1988 or so, Its not bad looking for 32 year old motorsycle. The odometer reads 2434.4 miles. The body is like new with the grey feature fading some. The red is still very nice. The fuel tank has rust pits on the top of the tank????? yes and some of the pits are all the way through the tank on the top of the tank.....I have Clear Title to it in my name, ready to go....... The mufflers look near new as does most of the metal work on this bike. If you are restoring that era Kawasaki ZX this is just loaded with very nice original parts, all but the carbs, they are missing. I can only guess that they were removed for rebuild after this had set for a few years and were lost along the way. If not sold in the near future I am considering parting it out, I priced an aftermarket faring and I think my original one might make a real prize. Thanks for looking at my Kaw ZX and if you are long distance check with Forward Air, Last motorcycle I shipped with them was 44 dollars per hundred pounds ( a 400 lb motorcycle was under 200 dollars from Las Vegas to Pennsylvania back then) and it got clear across the USA the next day. They also have rental shipping containers for motorcycles that do not need to be returned. their prices are probably up from the last time i shipped but still forth looking into. If you want to send a bad M.O.-----this is not working with me, I am not going to call Washington DC to talk with you or any of that scam stuff......so lets not waist each others time with scams...I will take USPS M.O. or cash or Maybe even a personal check and give it time to clear or ????? we will see. I can bring it to Las Vegas or surrounding area for fuel consideration. At any rate where are you going to find a 32 year old Super Bike with 3400 miles on it. Maybe with some luck the engine will still be good, I am pricing it like you will be replacing or rebuilding the engine......
