Custom 1977 Honda CB750 Brat Cafe Style (Goleta/ SB) $2750

QR Code Link to This Post This is a 1977 Honda CB750 which has been completely reworked and updated. Plus---It has alot of upgrades from the stock equipment that came on those classic bikes. It runs perfectly and has had $3300 worth of custom work done to it within the last year. (Keep in mind this is one of the lowest priced cafe/ brat style racers on the coast today and head and shoulders above any in SB. They are all stock with nothing upgraded- just for looks. This one is for real. And more importantly is STREET LEGAL with turn signals and other custom adaptations. 1. All electronics and wiring has been redone. Completely upgraded and updated custom wiring harness from scratch. New wires, regulator, rectifier, all connectors and solenoid. No worrying about the old Honda wiring going out on you somewhere and not being able to get home! 2. New dyna ignition with new coils and spark plug wires- so the spark is super strong and you'll never have to worry about timing the points every oil change. 3. Frame has been chopped and de-tabbed and matte black sealed for that super custom brat/ cafe look with a hand built hoop welded onto the frame at the rear of the seat. It has a one of a kind custom seat pan to fit the frame 100% exactly. It is a brat seat so you can easily have a passenger ( or even two..if you get super lucky...) It also has a custom hidden battery box welded under the frame and comes with Shorai lithium battery (180$) that pushes the starter with a huge amount of cranking amps. 4. The engine is breathing thru a set of pod filters and the jets have been fitted for the pod filters and the custom Steve Carpenter (Carpy) 4 into 1 racing exhaust. (400$) This makes the bike sound like a beast and comes with an internal baffle that can be removed to let the entire neighborhood know that youre coming home. (Honestly, its not that loud!!!) http://carpyscaferacers.com/shop/shop-our-store/motorcycle-parts-accessories/honda-cb500-cb550-cb750-parts-upgrades/cb750-4-into-1-exhaust-sohc/ 5. Front shocks have been upgraded with progressive springs and the rears shocks have been upgraded as well, so when you're going 108+ mph on cathedral oaks/ foothill and you hit a small bump your bike stays where its supposed to! 6. Front drum brake has pretty new brake calipers and a modern master cylinder that works perfectly. All stainless steel braided lines so no sag in the front brake at all. Rear brakes are drums and have fairly new shoes- within the last year. You'll never need to rebuild either of the brakes ever again. 7. Low clubman style bars, with custom controls and a small rear view mirror so you dont have to be uncomfortable to ride the bike with super low clip on bars. 8. Working turn signals and a brake/ tail light with a custom vertical license plate holder. ( I dont run the turn signals- and Ive never been pulled over- but i thought for the sake of the next owner Id wire them back up. You can easily put in the even lower profile style mini leds for them but thats up to you...) 9. Slightly oversized then stock, Newer tires, --bridgstone s11s- which are excellent tires for highway or daily driving and let this bike corner extremely well. 10. Has custom oil filled- oil gauge for oil pressure indication mounted on the oil galley bolt. Oil tank is stock and works perfectly. 11. The speedometer and tachometer work perfectly but are not new so exact mileage is unknown, but in inspecting the camshaft which appears to be original it looks pristine---my guess- under 10K- in mileage. 12. The gas tank was stripped and then sealed a few years ago with Kreem and is excellent on the inside with the coating. The petcock is new and works perfectly. 13. Wheels are in great condition and are matte black as well to match the frame. I sold an exact copy of this bike like this in LA two years ago for 3500$ but I need this one gone asap to work on my others so thats why its so low. There are really no cons for this bike- although it is a 40+ year old bike and like all vehicles of this age is a vintage rider. It works perfectly, brakes well and corners appropriately, but if you ride modern bikes and want that feeling this bike is probably NOT right for you. It is however, an excellent upgraded version of these vintage racers and is as good of a example of a really light, stripped down version you can get under $8000-10K$. It is out of the DMV registration system and comes with a simple Bill of sale for easy registering. If you want me to register the vehicle I can do that for you but ill will cost you an extra $350 for my time- but you can register it for the cost of the registration itself. The bike was also in a few fashion magazine advertisements and comes with the black K tank not the light blue racing F model tank.
