Greek students conquer Mount Olympus in Thessaly

The first ever school to go on the bold mission to conquer the top of Mount Olympus, the mountain of the Gods for the Ancient Greeks, is the 2nd High School of Voula, in Attica. The young students, instead of going for their 5-day-trip — as is very common among Greek schools before the conclusion of the final year of high school — decided to do something extraordinary…Go and conquer the top of Mount Olympus which is 2,918 meters high (9,574 ft). Their adventure was difficult due to tough weather conditions, but the experience and the images they saw were unique and made the wonderful trip worth while.
