Summer is a deadly time, especially the months of July and August, according to the National Safety Council (NSC). The organization indicates that more accidental deaths occur in the two-month period than during any other two-month period of the year."“Unfortunately when we look at accidental deaths, summer is not the carefree period we’d like it to be,” said Ken Kolosh, NSC manager of statistics, in a statement. “The numbers underscore the need for public awareness.
