Painter Alexis Akrithakis’ stories at the Municipality of Athens Arts Center

The stories of celebrated Greek artist Alexis Akrithakis are exhibited at the Municipality of Athens Arts Center from March 15 through June 3th 2018. The exhibition, which was inaugurated by the mayor of Athens, George Kaminis on Thursday, March 15 at 19:00, is organized by the Municipality of Athens Culture, Sports and Youth Organization.The visitors will be offered the opportunity to browse through Akrithakis’ stories, booklets and notebooks. Denis Zacharopoulos in collaboration with the artist’s daughter Chloe Geitmann – Akrithakis and the Saronic Gulf Cultural Society “Polytropon”, has curated the exhibition.Alongside the exhibition, several educational programs are presented to school groups and the whole family.Educational programs for school groups“An artist makes stories about his daughter!
