A public hearing was held on 21 February at the European Parliament between the EMPL Committee and experts over the Commission proposal on work-life balance for parents and carers. The proposal, which takes place within the overall framework of the European Pillar of Social Rights, focuses on the challenges faced by working parents and carers.
