The identical 1995-1998 1100 models are the pinnacle of this legendary range. And yes, I've owned the air/oil-cooled versions. When Suzuki went to water-cooling in 1993, the '93-'94 versions left many wanting because the motorcycle "had lost the punch of the earlier models?" So, for 1995-1998, the factory addressed the issue re-doing the cams, ignition, etc., and totally massaged the power and torque curves of these incredible motorcycles. Outrageous high-output power and torque were once again the-order-of-the-day. "A road-racing weapon" which handles incredibly in the hands of a capable rider! GSX-R1100's make power (and sounds) to melt any enthusiast's heart. This WS model is sporting a full-system Vance & Hines 4-into-1 tuned-exhaust. Absolutely mind-blowing for sound (engine/exhaust) and performance enhancing boost! With her enormous mid-range-torque-sweet-spot it's never necessary to thrash these Suzuki engines. The bike has never been abused or stressed. Originally acquired out of a multiple-motorcycle collection. This particular GSX-R1100 benefited from a full service (and carb clean) 1000 miles ago by one of the best technicians in the County.
