SafeYouth@Work Action Plan promotes OSH of young workers

The SafeYouth@Work Action Plan seeks to further innovate ways to reduce the high incidence rate of injuries to young workers and lay the foundation for a culture of prevention on occupational safety and health (OSH).Statistics show that 18- to 24-year-olds are more likely to have a serious accident at work than older adults. They may be exposed to poor working conditions leading to the development of occupational illnesses while still young or later in life. The SafeYouth @ Work Action Plan webpage is now available in English, French and Spanish to promote OSH of young workers, with a focus on those aged 15 to 24. Visit the SafeYouth@Work Action Plan websiteFind out more about young people and safety and health at work
