QR Code Link to This Post Attention Vintage Harley collectors!! For sale is this classic 1980 FXB-80 Sturgis Harley Davidson shovelhead with 4 speed transmission. Those that know their history would know that one year after this Harley Davidson bought the company back from AMF. This newly restored Sturgis is in fantastic condition. Although there is an S&S air cleaner in the pictures, I have the original black/square air cleaner and you can see it in a couple of the picture. It has 38,090 original miles on it. The restoration included electrical rewiring, head work, clutch work, charging system and lots of cosmetic improvements to get this bike back to near stock and showroom quality. The engine is the original stock 80 cubic inch 1340cc shovelhead. This is one of the only motorcycles Harley made that had a belt for the primary drive and rear wheel. The Sturgis as named after the famous Black Hills Classic, which began as the Gypsy Tour and dirt-track race in 1938 sponsored by the Jack Pines Gypsies motorcycle club. This is a very rare Harley with only 1470 produced in 1980. Letting this one go for only $8,000 which is way under the Kelly Blue Book price!
