If you are not familiar with this hub google it - it is maintenance free for life, and allows you to continuously adjust your gear ratio. For example, you are going fast and pull up to a light - you can immediately drop to low gear for starting out and slowly increase your velocity/cadence as you accelerate. It feels more like a motorcycle throttle than shifting a bike.The bike sports brand new Planet Bike Cascadia fenders, brand new leather Brooks Champion Flyer sprung seat, brand new matching leather Brooks handgrips, and brand new Axa lights front and back run off a bottle dynamo.
