Gomboshaw appointed director of sales at Iberostar Grand Hotel Portals Nous

July saw the opening of Iberostar Hotels & Resorts’ first The Grand Collection hotel in the Mediterranean: the Iberostar Grand Hotel Portals Nous. As part of its strategy to promote and position the new hotel as a top seller and guarantee its success by meeting the targets set, the company has recently appointed Geraldine Gomboshaw as its new director of sales. Designed by renowned Dutch artist Marcel Wanders, the superior five-star hotel boasts a prime location on the Majorcan coastline and includes six luxury themed suites, four penthouse double rooms, an exclusive Skin Inc. spa, as well as a butler service under the hallmark of the British Butler Guild. With more than 17 years’ consolidated experience in the tourism sector, she has dedicated most of her career to this industry. She has worked in hotels such as the Hotel de Rome (Rocco Forte Collection), where she held the post of sales manager, Kempinski Hotels, where she spent five years, and Ritz Carlton, Abama, with various management posts in the sales areas.
