I have been using it just the way it is because it really never affected the way the trailer is used as you can see there's a 250-pound man standing on the corner and it is not Boeing ,has a crossmember 16 inches behind the broken one and custom rub rails that are 2 inch by 2 inch steel. I hit a pole with the trailer that's what broke crossmember but it's literally just that corner it is not broken where it is welded to the tongue.
