2013 Honda Metro 50cc Scooter – only 610 Miles! (Clarendon) $2190

QR Code Link to This Post I have many scooters and since I use this one infrequently, decided to try and sell it. I do not need to sell it and love riding it, when I do, so no low ball offers. It is stock except has a battery tender cord so you can charge it with a trickle charger or connect a cell phone charger to the battery. Never been dropped. Garaged almost its entire life till recently, now under a cover. I believe this is the latest generation of Metro, and when it comes to small motorcycles, latest generation usually makes more of a difference than generation differences for larger motorcycles and cars. The most expensive 50cc scooters now are 4 stroke with fuel injection. You want to be careful with 2 stroke (the type you had oil to the gas) and carb scooters (they need extra maintenance). This metro is fuel injected which means unlike the cheap carb Chinese scooters, you will not have any engine problems or issues starting it when it gets cold. Being a Honda, it is very reliable. You pay for what you get and with a Chinese scooter, have a good mechanic on speed dial. 50cc in Virginia means you do not need a Motorcycle license (think the same applies to DC but I cannot verify). In other words, your car driver license is sufficient. You also do not need to insure it unlike all other motor vehicles. And being 50cc you can legally park it at a bike rack. Talk to the dealer before purchasing one from them. The initial price will look good but when you add on dealer fees, transportation, paperwork, etc, your price usually goes up $800. It cost me I think $50 to register it since unlike car/motorcycles, it does not go by the 4% rule for tax, and you will not get taxed on it every year. Price Firm. Please put "metro" in the subject line so I know it is not spam.
