A New Zealand man who has been living and working in Myanmar has been jailed by the Myanmar authorities for two years for having displayed a jokey image of Buddha on the wall of his bar! The picture simply showed a colourful Buddha wearing headphones. The Deputy Asia Director of Human Rights Watch has said, "What this shows is freedom of expression is under greater threat than ever in Burma (Myanmar)".
